As RAKAWC we are the first port of call in the event of a lost pet in Ras Al Khaimah. We have witnessed first hand the joys of reuniting a lost pet with his/her parents and the absolute anguish and helplessness of a pet parent who did not microchip their pets.

Come at RAKAWC and get your Pet Microchipped  for 60 AED (40% off) in the month of March.

What Microchipping Involves

Microchipping is a simple and safe procedure which makes uniting pets and their owners much more likely. The Veterinarian simply injects a microchip for pets about the size of a grain of rice under the skin of your pet between the shoulder blades. The procedure is similar to a routine shot and takes only a few seconds and lasts a lifetime.

The Microchips we use at RAKAWC allows us to enter owner telephone number on the microchip. Once microchipped we will enter the unique code and owner information in our database. In the event that your pet is lost and is taken to an Animal Shelter or Veterinarian, they will scan the microchip to read its unique code and owner telephone number (if the microchip is compliant) and you will be reunited with your pet.

Microchips are also a compulsory requirement in the event that you have to travel abroad with your pets. It is important that your pet gets microchipped before it gets its first rabies vaccination since some countries might deny them entry if it is done after the rabies vaccination.

If your pet is already microchipped, please bring the pet for free registration in our database and we will help you recover your pet in the unfortunate event that he/she is lost.
